“Do we have to suit up?” Juniper asked, she was armed sorta and waiting for the order to pass the other ships airlock.
“Nope, but you should strap that belt on that you are just holding.” Lana stated. She was finished buckling. There was no noise filtering into the cargo bay.
“You know this silence in unnerving.”Juniper said.
“Sound does not travel well through the hull of the ship. It is lucky to hear anything in a space suit too. Space is nothing after all but dust particles and planets that are very far apart.” Lana responded.
Juniper did an un-lady like humph. She should have known that little bit of information, and Lana made her feel stupid that she did not.
