Feeling like curling up and withdrawing again. I know I shouldn’t but that is how I feel. I didn’t nap today first day that has happened in three weeks. My shoulder aches. And drama might enter my life again, if I let it. And you know what, I do not need drama currently.

Making friends isn’t easy for me. Never has. You see in third grade a bully broke off a piece of my front tooth. I got a replacement where the broken part was then never fixed it again until I was an adult. That tooth is very obvious sometimes especially before the replacement, it yellowed with use and time. I didn’t like my picture taken, still don’t because of that tooth, but I love to laugh and smile. Most people are “polite” about the tooth since I became an adult, but when I was a child the children were cruel.

I had that tooth, then I had clothing that wasn’t fashionable. And I got used to that. I like living the way I like, because I learned at a young age that if someone cared about looks they weren’t going to be my friend in the first place.

I did try to go along in high school with others, and I teased people when I had no right to tease. I became a person I didn’t like because I wanted people to befriend me. I don’t regret my actions, but I don’t like the fact that I hurt some people.

A person is a person no matter what they look like, how they live, and where they live. I believe that. And I don’t want others opinions to cause undo drama and stress. I will never really keep up with fashion. And no matter how good the dentist unless I get veneers or dentures I will always have that smile with an odd tooth.

I will say is when I like a person I like them for life. Because that person has something nice about them. It doesn’t matter who they are.

I read, does it make me an expert, no it doesn’t. I don’t think I every misrepresented my knowledge base. Or how much formal education I have had. I haven’t finish my Bachelor degree and some readers already know this, I do have a trade school degree as a Travel agent. I have admitted when I make a mistake and take the opportunity to learn.

I know people don’t have the luxury to read. Survival in a job is a priority. And how many jobs allow reading? Not many. Because once you have the degree, you are an expert, plus the ability to apply that education accordingly. But to read outside the field after a long day of work, can be tiring, add family demands well some experts are burdened.

I am not an expert, I hope to read the works of experts. But I have to apply skepticism to everything I read. If reading a science study, I ask, is this from the company? Is it government? Where is the bias of the writer coming from.

I have the luxury to read. And choose to read everything that interests me. Do I remember everything I read, no, not everything. Only a few people can remember everything they read.

Again I am just a writer. But to be able to write you have to be a good reader, listener and thinker. And if you don’t know it is okay to say, “I don’t know.” I will look it up. I do it all the time. I have started looking up scholarships and community colleges to get back to school. I haven’t decided if that degree is going to be history or Art or science, all three interest me. But when I become that expert, it won’t stop me from reading other topics that I am interested in. Every person who writes deserves to be read, not be some article collecting dust in a professional journal.

My shoulder is still broke.

Ray Bradbury in the 1950’s wrote a famous future book, Fahrenheit 451. And for those who know that is the temp paper burns.

No book should be burned. That is my stand and I hate the idea of burning human knowledge. Any knowledge.

What is in a book is someone’s mind. A piece of the person, be it fiction or non-fiction. That mind deserves to live on.

Even writing here on the internet, I am sharing my thoughts. I am saying with each letter this is me, with each punctuation mark, each choice of words, this is a little piece of my mind you read on the screen.

For me that is how I feel when I read the words of a book, it is also why I don’t like ghost writers when the author is supposed to be the person who writes. But that is me.

NO BOOK be it the bible or any other book should ever be burned. Ideas are to be read, thoughts and stories that make people human are in the pages that an author, writer, or scribe puts on paper.

Burning a book means you are not into learning. It is ignorance. That is all on this topic, I’m still not well, won’t be for a couple more weeks. That is my word on this subject, it is all I can give. Thank you Bradbury for your story, which warns of where ignorance leads.

I cut my hair earlier this year because of many reasons, one was the oil spill. I am thinking about growing back my hair. It is a vanity.

I am not into fashion, but recently I have thought it is time to jump through hoops, go along to get along, conform. It is easy to not conform when a person isn’t very social. I bought make-up, yuk! But if that is what is expected so be it. I won’t wear it during my day to day, but at functions I have to start attending, I will wear the war paint.

As for fashion, I have shopped. Got a sales clerk to match me. Again I hate shopping. It is a time consumer. I could be doing something else.

Anyway, that is life. Mine as a woman. No news today, my shoulder still hurts and I hate my pain pills.

I normally draw a few days a week. On loose paper, got a new sketch book before the accident. Well I find it hard to draw with my left hand in an odd angle. Drawing does take the entire arm for me.

Well, have a good day readers.

This video is about florida and getting out the vote. To vote is a privilege that All people in the USA share. If someone doesn’t vote that just says they are apathetic, so organizing some excitement for voting is a good thing.
Enjoy the video.

This is for me to remind me why HCR is still the best we could get. After the mid-terms maybe there needs to be some tweeking to make it a better program. I know all of it doesn’t take affect until 2014.

The man is surviving alone in this economy with just his disability. I am so proud of him, even if he doesn’t realize it.

I miss him. And wish he could help me. I know people break things, meaning bone, all the time, but with a large family with babies that becomes an issue. I know I will figure out what to do. I always do.

I am getting emotional support and that is alright currently. Not many people are getting help in this economy, for physical needs and/or emotional, so once again I am lucky.

He needs to take care of himself some more, because I have to take care of my family, if he needed me, my home is always open to him. I worry about him daily. Which is why he ends up in my writing. I wish he didn’t live alone, but I can’t make him not have that gift. He’s a veteran and he has honor.
